Hi! I am glad you found me.

I am a trauma-informed, weight-inclusive, licensed clinical psychologist in Upstate New York. My experience and training comes from a variety of settings giving me a strong background in supporting individuals, families, professionals and organizations with a range of needs.
I primarily work out of my private practice in Pittsford and I also provide services virtually across New York State, Pennsylvania, Florida and Illinois.
I have extensive training, expertise and experience in working with individuals in the process of eating disorder recovery. My background in this area includes doctoral research, consultation and clinical work at several different levels of care and settings including college health centers, partial-hospitalization programs, inpatient programs and outpatient program.
I regularly provide trainings to other clinicians to increase their knowledge, competency and confidence in working with individuals in eating disorder recovery.
I also regularly provide trainings for educators and schools (staff and students!) on anti-fat bias, eating disorder prevention, and support for students with an eating disorder diagnosis .
In addition to my private practice work, I am a member of the Western NY Comprehensive Care Center for Eating Disorders (WNYCCCED) team based out of the University of Rochester School of Nursing. In this role I serve as a member of the Project ECHO Eating Disorder team that provides virtual consultation to providers and school-based staff.
I have an interest in progressive environmental practices, community building, and connection with food and food systems. I seek out opportunities to incorporate these interests with my clinical work as well as my volunteer work in the community.

My loyal co-worker, Pepper Walsh

Pepper is a young (November 2023), English Cream Golden Retriever with a big future ahead.
Pepper and I are working together towards a goal of becoming therapy dog certified, and working as a service dog supporting individuals with a history of trauma. We are working with Kaitlin Wilson out of Canandaigua, NY.
Pepper will be in the office with me most days. However, if you have allergies or believe that she would negatively impact your therapy experience, please let me know and I can make different plans for her!
